This is the first one I created off of clients request as opposed to them buying one I created. Luckily the person's interests, pop culture wise, matched mine so I kinda had the source material down. I'm just proud that I'm actually getting customers, jesus, who'd a thought right?
Take THAT Momtok!
Note: I'm so in love with the shading I pulled off on this piece it kinda makes me sad to sell it. This was done, like all my burns, entirely with a woodburning pen, no stains what-so-ever. Kind of a point of pride of mine. I mean I'm REALLY proud of it. Maybe I'll just print a picture of it on cardboard and put it in a glass case for him so he'll never know...mwah-ha-ha

OK cool. Just, as you visualize it, remember that the heavier the contrast the bolder the image. For example SMB2 had the awesome super thick lines around the enemies. This, in a woodburn, will make them stick out like crazy, where as with Murderface since he's more (compared to SMB) realistically shaded and whatnot it's going to be a mellower shade if you catch my meaning.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Some ideas that pop to mind though are:
Mastersword from the opening in LoZ2
Something from Smb2
Portrait of Murderface from Metalocalypse
There really are a ton more that sound cool. I'll give it some thought.
